Cindy is a licensed agent specializing in property and casualty, life, health and annuity insurance. She is the Co-owner of Everett Schmenk Insurance of Ottawa, Erhart-Stechschulte Insurance of Kalida, and Grove Insurance Services of Columbus Grove. She is a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Ashland University. She obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1991 and her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter degree in 2002.

She joined her father, Robert Schmenk, and grandfather, Everett Schmenk at the agency in 1984. She is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Ottawa-Glandorf Rotary Club – Past President, Ottawa-Glandorf Athletic Boosters – Treasurer, Oh Gee Mother’s Club -Treasurer and the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Lima Elks Lodge 54.

Cindy and her husband Fred (Fritz) have three children, Kayla, Ashley and Fred (Brook). She enjoys traveling, camping and spending time with her grandchildren, Grayson, Leo, Cyrus, Sawyer & Rosa.
